We made it safely to Phoenix at noontime wednesday. We left early that morning so that we could drive in the cooler part of the day so we could beat the 106 degree weather in AZ. During the latter part of the trip we played the ten minute game: rolling the windows up and getting all sweaty then rolling them down and the breeze blew on us cooling us from our sweat. Once I gave into the sweat it felt good. I started to think of creative options to keep us cool, that if I had talked with my mother in law I would have gotten the same ideas much earlier on: frozen water bottles to put under your legs or on your neck,spray bottles or wet washclothes... well now we know for our drive back to LA soon.
Malachi discovered the fun of watching veggietales through some binoclars "nock-you-yours" yesterday.
