Punkin Time!

For the last three years we have gone to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in wheatland with my parents. We love it, they have yummy caramel apples, BBQ'd treats, animals that you can pet and feed, You can even get in with the goats, choo choo train, hay rides out to the pumpkin patches, pig races, um lets see what else I am forgetting.... Fall isn't the same without it!

Praying for dinasours

Arwyn and Chi just came into my room and informed me that the dinosaur was getting them.

M: you could go fight the dinosaur with a sword....OR you could pray for the Dino in Jesus name.

an excited look spread across her face as she considered the two ideas...
A:yeah! lets go fight the dino with a sword!

and as they walked away she told chi
A:Then after we hurt him we can pray for him and say " dear Jesus pease protect us from the dino, so he dont hurt us"

I guess you have to have something to pray about! and if you dont you can make something to pray about...

Malachi-isms

we were in the car and Malachi dropped his toy...
M: GREAT!

the phrase i hear most in the day...
"Milk in my cup mommy"

At least once a day Malachi comes to me whining. But he is pretending to whining, He forces the face and everything, shortly after Arwyn informs me "he is lost again." ( in our own home), at least once a day they pretend Chi is lost and he whines like he is scared...

this morning he wa seating his morning KIX and he spilt his milk all over the tray... so he grabs anearbu napkin and pulls his shirt up and "dries" it. I came over to check on him and start whiping up the milk on the tray, " NO, body is wet mommy".

You may wonder why i am posting these, I just think any NORMAL 2 year old comes up with this stuff...do they?

Arwyn-isms

were in the car returning from preschool and arwyn asks where her phone is:
M: You didnt have your phone at school so it must be at home..
A: she softly disagrees
M: you did have it at school?
A: just stares guiltily at me
M: Arwyn did you sneak your phone in your pocket?
A: doesn't answer
M:We are not supposed to take toys to school? please answer me did you take it to school?
A:It doesn't matter mommy!
M: speechless.
