This past weekend we enjoyed a relaxing visit to the picteresque coastal
hamlet of Jenner. When we managed to drag ourselves away from leisurely
naps and card games, we took a little drive out to Bodega Head to watch
the waves crashing and the storm rolling in while we sampled 7 varieties
of saltwater taffy. Arwyn was inspired by the trip to the coast (as
usual) and delighted us by demonstrating her first sign language
expression: more. She is now signing "more" for everything; whether
reading books, drinking Dr Pepper, or going bodysurfing. Oh wait,
that's her daddy.
She also began practicing the word uh-oh. She came up with creative
versions like "uuh" or "ooooh", much to our delight.
She has mastered solid foods and is quickly moving on to chewables,
although dad doesn't have to share his tri-tip yet.
