The Farm Show

A few weekends ago our friends Tim and Keira Erickson invited us to this once a year happening. Everyone that owns something "farm" comes and shows it off here at the The Farm Show in Harrisburg, PA. I have never seen such shiny, fluffy cows. That's cause they shampoo, blow dry and brush them very often. Despite the COLD, we had fun wandering through the buildings looking at the tractors, animals, and even the yummy food. We shared the BEST milkshake I have ever had and a potato donut...mmmm....so good!

 

 

 

 

Some Milestones

This was our first time experimenting with rice cereal. We decided to try giving her a heavy meal in hopes that she would sleep longer through the night. But about a week later I gave up, she doesn't seem ready to swallow and hated the texture in her mouth, she would purse her lips shut and turn away. Maybe in a month or so.

 

What a great brother he is!

 

On her 5 month old birthday! What a big girl! She got to try a new activity, jumping. It's about the only way she is willing to not be held.

 

 

Going Home

Two days after we were at the beach in the low 80's we were making snow men in Lancaster...

There was a pen with bunnies and guini pigs and you could go in and pet them, Malachi had a blast chasing the little things around, he looked a bit overwhelemed chasing one to the other, but he managed to catch a few.

Malachi-isms

As he is coming out of the bathroom he says in a surprised tone:
"Mommy, I have a boob!" and he is pointing to a mole on his hip.
