an early start by the fire

 

we went up above Redding with our friends the Mathison's. They have 2 kids, roughly the same age and sex as ours, so it was fun to find out what camping with little ones is like together. It worked out well, cuz the girls kept eachother occupied making piles of dirt, stealing eachothers sticks, and looking for bears....
